Impact

Explore New Horizons engages over 7,500 students each year in 3-5 day outdoor education programs. We have served over 10,000+ students throughout our history.

Explore New Horizons currently tracks our impact through post-session surveys completed by teachers and by analyzing additional feedback provided by students, cabin leaders, and teachers during the week.

As we launch, Exploring New Horizons is seeking philanthropic support to increase equity in outdoor education.

Participation in residential outdoor education programs during the critical period of middle childhood can be a catalyst for improved academic achievement and social-emotional growth, yet only half of schools participate. Teachers, students, and their families raise funds to participate, and our goal is to raise $100,000 to enable an additional 500 low-income students to attend a life-changing week of outdoor school during the 2025 school year.

Please consider donating to GreenSkillsLab today to help ensure all students have equal access to a week of outdoor school.
